Savage Messiah, Book One in The Destinies of Blood and Stone trilogy, continues the story of the Chosen Ones originally started in The Fifth Sorceress, The Gates of Dawn, and The Scrolls of the Ancients. Robert has been finished writing and editing Savage Messiah for many months now, and Del Rey will release it in hardcover Febrary 2006.

Due to the length of publication time between The Scrolls of the Ancients and Savage Messiah, Robert decided that it would be great to give the fans a taste of the new book every month that lies between its original publication date of June 2005 and the new one of December 2005. Therefore, starting in May 2005 with the prologue, Robert and The Chronicles of Blood and Stone website will release a chapter a month of Savage Messiah until December 2005!
